In the upcoming weeks, there will be releases of a couple of visuals from 'Two Letters' and a blog post here on MICTL.com of a description of EACH song of the album. First, we will start off with the song 'Freshmen Confession'. Freshmen Confession is the 3rd song on the album, and so you may be wondering.. "Why would this song be described first, and not the actual intro." If you are thinking that in this moment, GOOD.. No...
Great!
sV's main objective is to get people to wonder, and think.
In the beginning of this beautiful song, you hear the voice of Will Smith describing the power of Greatness, and how Greatness itself is attainable by every human being on this Earth, which seems to be something that we tend to forget during everyday life. We tend to look toward the most adored celebrities, or individual figures who have the spotlights on them like their God's or more important than ourselves without knowing that we are powerful within our own selves. In the beginning of the song, sV begins to feel the darkness of confusion by reality settling around him. With the rush of becoming a man on his own without proper guidance with the responsibilities placed around him, and not having the time to really plan or grow he falls into a dark place wondering what his purpose truly is, but toward the end, you feel and hear the lightbulb come on, in where he walks into finding his hidden talent that will being him into the next chapter of life, and the next transition of this album of him configuring his hidden talent...
So why is this first blog post a review on the 3rd track of this album? It is simply because this is where in the album begins with Conflict, and the first step to impriting in the listeners mind along the lines of finding out what "Two Letters' really means, which is revealed while listening through to the whole album piece by piece from beginning, to middle, and to the end.
Below this Blogpost is the song 'Freshmen Confession' straight from the album, version that is available on YouTube. If you have not heard this whole Album yet, Listen now. The actual Deluxe version of this album is available below as well for listen/FREE Download.
Relate. Enjoy. Two Letters.
